Sales Representative Job Opening in Richmond, Virginia - SUMMARY:
International Cellars is seeking a wine sales representative for the Richmond, VA area. The chosen applicant will take over an active account list but will be expected to grow, as well. Come be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking company where you can control your day and your earnings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make regular sales calls to accounts to cultivate relationships and increase placements. Work with management to set strategy for market penetration. Actively maintain a list of prospective customers. Meet or exceed monthly goals and placement objectives assigned by management. Participate in monthly sales meetings in Northern VA. Conduct staff training, wine dinners, and tastings at your accounts regularly. Work flexible hours to include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of sales experience within the food and beverage industry. Must be at least 21 years of age. Goal-oriented, focused, assertive, and effective with little direct supervision. Basic to advanced wine knowledge. Bachelor?s degree and industry certifications preferred.
COMPENSATION:
This is a commission-based position with an income potential of $45,000+ annually.
