Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direction and development of existing IT platforms to provide pertinent and timely information for optimization of Stronghaven?s business functions. Included in this will be the rationalization of the numerous legacy platforms that exist in Stronghaven into a more robust and reliable system that supports and compliments the business needs. Provide technology, vision and leadership in the development and implementation of new information systems for a multimillion dollar/multi division corporation. Responsible for the information systems, infrastructure and information Systems department that supports the corporation. Understands the intersection of technology and business in support of the business processes for all divisions of the corporation. Necessary to satisfy this imperative will be a rudimentary understanding of process control, process information and the linkage of data/information from those systems into a format that can be instrumental in running and optimizing Stronghaven?s businesses. This position will involve travel estimated 50-75 percent of the time.
Specific Responsibilities:
The successful Director will recognize a strong business relationship with the GM?s of the corporate and business division is critical for his/her success and that of the corporation.
Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the information and technology systems and supporting infrastructure for the corporation
Development and deployment of an annual IT budget
Contract negotiation, execution and management in all areas of the Information Systems
Facilitate communication between staff, management, users, consultants
Change catalyst and change leader
Ultimate responsibility for:
Staffing and management of IT department
All information systems projects
All application systems that support all functions of the corporation
Technical infrastructure to support these applications
Security
Facilitate and coordinate creation of teams, training, super users for application initiatives
Advise, execute and lead all information technology decisions
Evaluate technology changes/trends for validity and return on investment

Management and direct supervision for all levels within the corporation, consultants and outsourced service groups.

Ability to handle the knowledge of data professionally and responsibly.
Education
Bachelor?s degree in computer science or information systems related field.
Minimum ten years managing an information systems environment for a multi division corporation.
Minimum five years experience managing an ERP application preferably in a manufacturing environment.
