Are you committed to sharing language & culture with children using dynamic, interactive methods? Sponge, a children's language center, offers Spanish, Mandarin, French and Japanese classes at our own centers in Seattle & on the Eastside in Issaquah, and at local schools, daycares and community centers. Using the communicative approach we introduce language and culture through activities, games, drama, story-telling, art and music. Classes are held entirely in the target language and are designed to build strong comprehension and communication skills. We have a research-based curriculum and provide extensive teacher training and on-going development. We are currently hiring for a Japanese teaching position. Applicants must have access to transportation and a valid work permit. Experience working with young children and families is greatly preferred.
