Front Office Receptionist Job Opening in Norwell, Massachusetts - Local Optometrist's Office looking to fill a full-time position as a receptionist/office assistant.
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Using Medical Software program to prepare invoices, financial statements, and medical records and maintain patient scheduling and information
-Check insurance eligibility and process insurance claims for medical services and materials(such as contact lenses and glasses)
-Maintain and review patient medical records for completeness, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance.
-Ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies such as contact lenses.
-Coordinate pre-operative appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations with external practices; document patient progress
-Basic office duties such as handling a multi-line phone system, checking patients in and out, collecting co-payments, answering insurance questions, and scanning records.
An ideal candidate must be friendly, customer service oriented, able to multi-task, and detail oriented. Experience in a healthcare practice and/or management is preferred.
