Medical Assistant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Elixia Wellness Group is a busy and growing holistic healthcare clinic, looking to add a new medical assistant to our team! Our clinic offers acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, primary care, physical therapy as well as chiropractic and massage. Our ideal candidate would have familiarity with holistic and regenerative medicine and be passionate about supporting the delivery of healthcare to a diverse community.
Requirements:
Rooming patients, assisting providers, prescription refills, busy phones, prior authorizations, and having current phlebotomy and injection experience.
Qualifications:
Must have minimum 2 years' experience working as a medical assistant.
Ideally possess clinical skills and knowledge related to holistic and/or regenerative medicine.
Knowledge in IV infusions
Must be able to operate with limited supervision
Must possess excellent communication skills, specifically related to communication with the referring physician and administrative staff.
Must be able to type 50wpm
Candidate should be technically meticulous, compassionate, thoughtful, and committed to providing outstanding patient care.
