Assessment Therapist (LPC or LCSW) Responsibilities:
This temporary licensed therapist position will cover the 8 pm to 5 am shift Monday through Friday.
Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons aged 6 and over whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
Assists law enforcement, family members, and others with the admission process, both voluntary and emergency detentions.
Performs crisis intervention and makes referrals to community resources as appropriate.
Assigns persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and coordinates inpatient admissions through the medical staff.
Mental Health Counselor (LPC or LCSW) Qualifications:
Oklahoma LPC or LCSW
Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety.
