Southern Maine Healthcare is currently seeking candidates to fill a Registered Nurse position for the Walk-In Clinic in Kennebunk, ME .
This is a weekend only position consisting of two 10 hour shifts. Some schedule flexibility is available and will be considered based on meeting the needs of the Walk-In Clinic and working 20 hours per week.
The Registered Nurse assists the physicians in the care and treatment of patients, particularly by responding to telephone calls. The position is responsible for the delivery of care through the process of assessment, planning and implementation. S/He promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm, supportive atmosphere. The RN performs tasks as required, paying attention to detail and accuracy. The RN conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality. Furthermore, the incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
Qualifications:
ASN Required.
Bachelor degree required. BSN preferred.
At least two years? experience in related field preferred.
Basic life support and ACLS are required.
The use and knowledge of computers, the knowledge of office procedures necessary, and routine laboratory procedures.
