Sales Consultant Job Opening in East Haven, Connecticut - Job Responsibilities: · Sell vehicles by providing exceptional customer service. Listen and respond to customer needs. · Assist with vehicle selection and answering questions.· Maintain a working knowledge of available inventory, financing options, titles and extended service policies.· Process paperwork associated with retail automobile sales including credit application, payoff information, titles and other related materials.· Maintain customer base through follow-up contact that encourages patronage.· Maintain sales area, including staging vehicles for display, verifying information on window stickers, reporting concerns to management and other related tasks.· Assist in auctions and the vehicle appraisal process, including paperwork collection, vehicle transportation and successful delivery of appraisal figures to the customer in a way that is positive and compels them to want to sell the vehicle to us.
