Sales Operations Job Opening in Colchester, Vermont - Critical Process Systems Group (CPS) is a group of manufacturing and design companies providing innovative product solutions to the semiconductor, life science, chemical processing, gas systems, wastewater, mining, power generation and other industries. With the breadth of our product offerings and engineering capabilities we can offer broad turnkey solutions or targeted niche products depending on our customer?s needs and desires.
This position is with our company Fab-Tech , which manufactures PermaShield Pipe (PSP®), a revolutionary hybrid fluoropolymer coated stainless steel duct system recognized worldwide as the premier solution for corrosive and hazardous fume exhaust needs. PermaShield Pipe is a fully engineered, modular fume exhaust system that combines the reliability of stainless steel with the superior corrosion resistance of Fab-Tech's proprietary PermaShield Fluoropolymer Barrier Coating. PSP carries a highly regarded FM4922 approval as well.
SUMMARY : Assist Fab-Tech?s Sales efforts by performing various sales and customer service functions for internal and external customers. Includes estimating and quoting products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide superior customer service to external customers and our outside sales force by answering incoming calls and following through on their questions and/or requests.
Develop and maintain solid product and market expertise.
Answer customer questions and seek technical expertise when necessary.
Always provide prompt and comprehensive feedback to customers (exceed expectations).
Estimate and quote products and projects for customers.
Receive orders from customers; enter into the order entry system and production schedule.
Manage both small and large multi-order projects; prioritize delivery of releases on large projects.
Obtain change orders on projects where appropriate.
Continuously update customer and prospect contact and mailing list.
Work with department head to expand the scope of our customer service activities.
Interface with internal resources () to exceed customer needs.
Enter X-numbers for customer parts accurately. Seek assistance where necessary.
Execute sales department weekly and monthly reporting functions as assigned.
Assist finance with receivable collection activities where appropriate.
SKILLS:
Excellent customer service, communication, phone, and problem solving skills.
Experience managing multiple projects.
Have a solid understanding of all facets of the sheet metal and HVAC industry, from duct construction through installation practices.
Strong product and technical knowledge and/or the ability to assimilate extensive information related to our products and applications.
Proficiency with Architectural / Mechanical blueprint reading and project specifications.
Proficiency with CAD software and QuickPen estimating software a plus
A commitment to superior customer service, exceeding customer expectations and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
EDUCATION: Minimum of an Associate?s degree plus three years experience in a customer service /inside sales role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor?s degree preferred.
