New Home Sales Assistant Job Opening in Harrisonburg, Virginia - New Homes Sales Assistant
Harrisonburg?s premier luxury new home builder, is seeking candidates to fill an available position in one of the region?s most exciting new planned mixed use Communities. The New Homes Sales Assistant will be trained and mentored by a Sales Manager committed to preparing them for a successful career in New Home Building Industry. This is a part-time position that has the potential to move to a full-time salary position.
You will become part of a team of professionals committed to providing exceptional customer service while building and maintaining relationships with our purchasers. Over the course of the training period you will develop the skills necessary to become proficient at preparing and interpreting a competitive market analysis, creating and implementing marketing plans, contributing to product development efforts, managing the sales process, contract administration and interior design. You will also develop the construction knowledge necessary to promote the benefits of our construction methods and specifications for new construction as well as manage the in house design center.
Typical Daily tasks include -Supporting roles to the Sales Manager, Managing inventory of sales, available homes, marketing brochures and supplies- Greeting and welcoming prospective homebuyers to the Open Houses- Scheduling appointments- Collecting pertinent information from visitors- Entering and updating prospective buyer information into database- Visiting top competitors in order to better understand our competitive strengths and weaknesses ? General clerical duties as needed to support the team?s efforts ? Will be trained to do Interior design consultations with purchasers ? Design center product updates and orders-Mortgage and settlement coordination efforts
Required Skills:
An Interior Design background is a plus, however, a passion for real estate, architecture and design is a must
Professional demeanor and appearance necessary at all times
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with customers
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude
Ability to work independently along with excellent time management skills is a must
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate to advanced level skills using MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends is a must
Minimum Bachelor?s Degree or working equivalent
Valid Driver's License
