Job Description:
The Accounting and Finance Consultant will audit our current systems and implement new process.
Our organization seeks a detail-oriented, self-starter, solution driven professional, preferably with a background in accounting or finance and an interest in real estate, to serve in a position that will allow you to flex your finance expertise. While we currently have reporting systems in place, with a small team, we need to improve our systems to meet with our internal growth. The position requires prior knowledge of accounting systems, focus to implement a uniform solution, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
As our Accounting and Finance Consultant, you will be responsible for helping to prepare monthly financial statements, send weekly payroll reports, maintain our invoice database, and perform relevant analytics. While working proactively and independently, you will be the brokerage liaison to the accounting department and CFO.
This position will report to the Director of Operations and Managing Partner, as well as partnering with agents and department leads.
This position is currently on a project basis, but has potential to be on-going.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
Knowledge of bank reconciliations, P&L statements, general ledgers
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables
Proficient in Google systems, including Google Sheets
Obsessively attentive to detail and committed to excellence
The ability to work independently
The ability to multi task
Interest in Real Estate, or prior experience in the industry
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $15.00 to $30.00 /hour
