Accounts Payables/Receivables coordinator - Freight Forwardi... Job Opening in Rosedale, New york - ICL USA () is seeking to fill an Accounts Payables and Receivables coordinator position at our Cross Island Plaza, Rosedale, NY location.
This position is responsible to providing the highest level of support to all customers and vendors by timely and accurately processing vendor invoices and customer billing.
You would need to develop and maintain strong relationships with all clients, service providers and partners which includes but not limited to airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, Customs brokers, as well as company personnel, locally and internationally.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
Minimum experience of 3-5 years, preferably in the freight forwarding industry
Receive and process vendor invoices
Provides reports related to billing, and collections
Answers customer billing inquiries
Manage customer billing, updates and balances accounts, posts adjustments, payments and follow up
Maintain knowledge of accounts receivables and payables
Strong knowledge of the UPS and FedEx billing systems
Verify data input and correct errors, compile information, prepare reports using excel and Company systems
Support other office functions

Hands on approach - Ability to work with minimum supervision
College degree preferred.
Proficient computer skills inclusive of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong knowledge of the geography of the United States
Willingness to work as many hours as it would take to get the job done and ensure highest customer satisfaction
