Southeast Regional Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Implement sales and marketing programs and activities to meet assigned profit, volume and administrative objectives in assigned area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop long-term business relationships with key accounts and top broker decision makers in Midsouth United States.
Conduct regular communication and contact with top key accounts, brokers, and headquarters personnel.
Analyze and present assign area business trends on a quarterly basis to company management with recommendations for improvement based on area opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred
10 years related experience in food industry
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in use of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to send and download information critical to business.

Job requires travel. Expected overnight travel is three days per week but could be more or less.
