About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill the role of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Analyst in Dayton, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of activities to include, but not limited to:
Reconcile accounting data in GAFS/DEAMS, CMCS, SAMIS, DIFS, or other applicable systems/reports to identify, resolve, and correct MAFR errors caused by direct/reimbursable transactions
Providing financial management support including research and resolution of dormant financial transactions and Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
Assist DFAS in resolving the Trial Balance errors or Funds Balance with Treasury (FBwT) reconciliations to resolve various Statement of Differences for key fiscal areas.
Process Transactions By-Others, 1080s, and 1081s; research, analyze and correct errors on the Merged Accounting and Finance Reporting System; clearing FMS reimbursable transaction rejects.
Analyzing and correcting rejects in Database Transmission Report records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in related field or 4+ years of experience.
Prior experience in Financial Management, FMS Case Reconciliations and Case Closures
Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines independently, as well as part of a team.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be subject to a Tier 3 Background Investigation (NACLC).
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with the following systems: General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS/BQ), Security Assistance Management Information System (SAMIS), Case Management Control System (CMCS), Defense Integrated Financial System (DIFS), Shared Data Warehouse (SDW), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCARS), AFSAC Online, and Case Financial Dashboard (CFD).
Familiarity with OPSEC rules and regulations.
