Business Office Manager Job Opening in Lenexa, Kansas - Covenant Place of Lenexa , Lenexa, KS, part of a nationwide family of CCRC's: Covenant Retirement Communities, 5th largest LeadingAge Ziegler Top 100, is seeking an Business Office Manager.
Overview: The Business Office Manager is responsible for the timely input of information within the accounting systems at Covenant Place of Lenexa and those, which interface with the outside accounting businesses. The Business Office Manager directs the overall Human Resource activities in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Executive Director, to assure the proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times.
Qualifications: High School Diploma. Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet). Basic bookkeeping course or prior bookkeeping experience in long-term care preferred. One to three years of professional experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties are determined by Covenant Place of Lenexa?s needs and may include, but are not limited to, the following,
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the administrative office policies and procedures.
Interpret the facility?s policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc. as directed by the Executive Director.
Organize, evaluate and monitor business office operations and Concierge personnel.
Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Executive Director as required.
Oversee Human Services processes within Covenant Place of Lenexa in compliance with state and Federal guidelines. Maintains accurate employee records. Establishes and tracks benefits for the staff.
Provides information to resident/families as necessary, or refer to appropriate department or agency.
Ensure that an adequate supply of office supplies and equipment are on hand to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the facility
