SUMMARY:
We are looking for safe, polite and compassionate certified Paramedics for various positions throughout the company's service areas in the lakes region of NH. Responsible for providing high quality emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to patients while providing exceptional customer service. Responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of Stewart's Ambulance assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
We are hiring both full-time and part-time Paramedics with flexible scheduling available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer relations: Works collaboratively with sending and receiving facilities and medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for patients and customer experiences
Family relations: Communicates effectively, efficiently and compassionately with family and/or patient guardians to insure the best possible outcome for patients and the client?s experiences
Provides care from the initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility; maintains thorough patient care documentation
Maintains documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety training, OSHA and HIPAA training, and other related requirements
Attends continuing education programs pertinent to his/her area of practice
Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by Stewart's Ambulance
Responsible for reporting medical equipment failures and taking initial steps to ensure repair of equipment as directed
Maintains adequate supplies and equipment onboard ambulance to deliver patient care and maintain compliance
Keeps assigned vehicle clean and orderly to insure rapid response and professional appearance to all transport requests
Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS Representatives, healthcare facilities and the public
Participates in planned outreach marketing and education activities
Work collaboratively with EMTs, Paramedics, and/or Registered Nurses (RNs)
Completes all required documentation
Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment
Serves as role model, educator and clinical resource to other staff
Desired Skills and Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing
Must be able to provide current PPD test results
Licenses and Certifications (must be valid, current and/or in good standing)
Valid Driver?s License
EMT-B or Advanced certification at State level (or National Registry)
CPR (AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider or ARC CPR for Professional Rescuers)
COMPETENCIES : Competency in basic life support skills as defined by State, LEMSA, Medical Director(s) and Medical Standards.
