Global Group Controller Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Controller Experience
a. Lead Finance function within Business Unit
b. Ensure the plant/site financial statements accurately represent the real economic & financial position in accordance to US-GAAP and local statutory requirements
c. Ensure compliance within Internal Control Environment;
d. Monitor controls to protect inventory, tooling, fixed assets
e. Review and develop accurate product cost by part number
f. Drive working capital reductions
2. Business Partnership and Collaboration
a. Be an effective member of the Business Unit Leadership Team, challenge the team to deliver results and enact positive change.
b. Proactively participate and contribute to the development of the Business unit?s growth and profitability;
c. Provide input and decision making recommendations on all key commercial decisions ? quoting, pricing, sourcing, capital investments
d. Analyze and interpret KPI?s in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance and operational excellence
3. Career Development
a. Identity key finance associates and provide them with appropriate development, coaching, mentoring and training
b. Constantly evaluate the effectiveness and optimization of the organizational structure including development of the plant/site controller progression and succession plan
