Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain, Assistant Controller Job Opening in Park City, Utah - This is an opportunity to own the strategic financial function for a rapidly growing, international technology company located in Park City, Utah. Your leadership and analysis will enable our teams to make key strategic decisions that impact both Avi-on, and the lighting and controls industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the reporting function: prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, variances, and trends (budget v. actual v. forecast)
Manage monthly accounting and bookkeeping; manage planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Manage real-time cash flow on a weekly basis
Manage, build, enhance enterprise planning and forecasting models
Work with engineering to build and manage systems for managing and tracking supply chain elements (SOs, POs, invoices, and inventory)
Prepare short and long-term strategy and financial forecasts
Deliver quarterly investor metrics and deck
Manage stock and option plans
Build and manage employee benefit plans
Build and manage systems that attract and retain great people
Interact with internal customers to assure that decisions are properly executed within established Finance guidelines
Do market research and analysis to build business cases for new products, lines of business, and sales channels where no precedent exists
Help determine key performance indicators and develop dashboards
Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capability
Provide ad hoc analytics
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
Detailed understanding of accounting for software and inventory
Experience with planning and analysis software tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of leadership and related experience in a complex challenging environment
Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or CPA preferred. MBA an asset.
Advanced skills in Quickbooks, Excel, and database analysis
Experience in financial systems integrations
This role reports to the COO, and the position is located in Park City, Utah. Travel is possible, but minimal. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
