Accounting Intern Job Opening in Kaysville, Utah - Pick Your Plum is looking for an accounting intern that is versatile, organized, a quick learner, good with software and can also handle / learn basic bookkeeping functions. Starting pay is from $10 to $12 per hour based on experience. Ideal candidate is easily trainable and looking to begin / advance their career in accounting under an experienced CPA.
Part-time hours must be on-site and between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM during Monday - Friday.
The candidate will be trained and have responsibilities in accounts payable, cash deposits, bank reconciliations, basic human resources, payroll, vendor management, online banking, inventory accounting, filing and document retention, and possibly e-commerce marketing. Responsibilities will include other simple administrative tasks when requested. Must be open to learning new accounting skills and company system processes.
Qualifications: Basic accounting knowledge, Office Maintenance and Administration, E-mail, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, general computer knowledge in Microsoft Word & Excel. Is a plus if the candidate has Google Apps Suite and Quickbooks Online.
