REPORTS TO: IT Applications Team
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Our Customer located in North Scottsdale, is a world renowned Company in the Restaurant Fine Dining and Fast Food Industry. Our customer is upgrading all of their Application Systems across over 425 locations within the United States and is looking for a Seasoned Business Analyst to assist with creating and documenting Business Requirements, Processes, Workflows and Support Activities across all facets of the business and the information technology groups.
The Business Analyst will act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and development teams. This position will be responsible for managing all incoming enhancement requests and production issues directly related to PF Changs and Pei Wei Restaurant Operations.
As business requirements are documented, the analyst will also be responsible for translating these into technical requirements and tracking through an Agile process. With an overlay of project management responsibilities, the project scope and timeline will be managed, defined, and communicated to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL :
Expertise with Microsoft Dynamics AX (CRM) is a must.
Ability to gather, research, design and create a quality Business Requirements Document (BRD) is a must.
Plan, prioritize, and deliver systems enhancements.
Identify business needs, create user stories, and translate requests into technical requirements for the development team.
Coordinate with business units on the user interface (UI) layout and design of all web applications.
Work to understand business processes, identify project risks and impediments, and proactively work with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Document and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation.
Assist product owner with development and/or delivery of Restaurant training materials/training classes with end users.
Organize and maintain each project?s respective JIRA backlog through grooming sessions, daily standups, and sprint planning.
Serve as a project liaison for internal business units and third-party vendors.
Resolve issues and risks by presenting and discussing options with the project team.
Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficient understanding of business analysis concepts, tools, and techniques.
Able to create and maintain standard project deliverables for multiple projects such as: requirements, process flows, wireframes, mockups, timelines, project plan, etc.
Aptitude to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Comfortable working within the parameters of Scrum project management methodology.
Capable of facilitating communication between stakeholders from all levels of the organization while objectively identifying and resolving conflict.
Proficiently drive business participation in all phases of the project.
Confident in multi-tasking between concurrent projects.
Understand all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to comprehend technical information and instructions in order to communicate and collaborate with coworkers, clients, stakeholders, etc.
Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong organization, time management, self-initiative, sense of ownership and accountability.
Provide creative solutions in a high-pressure environment without adversely impacting users.
Must work well in a team environment and be able to give and receive constructive feedback.
Able and willing to work more than 40 hours a week including some evenings and weekends as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
BS or BA in business related field preferred.
5+ years? experience as a Product owner or Senior Business/Systems Analyst with demonstrated accomplishments implementing projects and other initiatives. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of repeatedly leading successful project execution.
Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) in a Windows environment with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) software is required.
Prior work experience with development methodologies including Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, and/or test-driven development.
Knowledge of databases, SQL structures and writing simple queries, preferred
