Job Description: We are seeking an entry-level developer with 1-4 years' experience. A strong background in MS SQL and Visual Basic are desired. You will be a member of our development team enhancing and growing our SaaS Cloud platform. You will contribute to the overall design and development of our web applications which integrate into our database and financial systems.
We will scale our software to handle our growing installed base while focusing on increasing functionality and usability, maintainability and performance of our software. We are enabling our platform to work seamlessly for our global clients.
The position will require you to develop across all application layers from database design though business layers and up to the front end. Agile software development experience is desired.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in requirements gathering, create functional specs and work estimates
Develop software to deliver features and address defects in the product
Follow software processes and help us evaluate ways to improve the development process
Work with cross functional team members on execution and on time delivery of high quality projects
Create Unit Test documentation and tools
Required Skills:
Experience in analyzing, programming, and implementing systems
Experience with
Experience programing to SQL database
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles
Highly proficient with 4.5 and and related technologies
experience
Firm grasp of software development process (SDLC)
Enthusiasm for test-driven development/unit testing
Ability to work effectively in an Agile development model with bi-weekly sprints
Knowledge of source and version control systems such as Team Foundation Suite
Ability to grasp business concepts quickly
Experience writing functional and design specifications
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Experience with MS SQL design and coding
Familiar with LINQ/Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies
Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)
JSON experience (web services, serialization)
