Reception Agent Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - THE MODERN's one of a kind, unrivaled experience is created by the world's top talent. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Reception Agent (on call), to provide exceptional guest service throughout all stages of guests' stay from checking in, accommodating special requests, and checking out.
Responsibilities
Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
Drive rate through up-selling rooms, amenities, and special offers
Collect accurate payment from guests with daily accounting procedures
PBX operations to include mail/message service, taking hotel reservations, and concierge services in a gracious and professional manner
Be knowledgeable and able to communicate all of the hotel offerings and surrounding areas of Hawaii to provide guests with relevant information
Communicate and resolve guests' needs without guests' verbalizing their requests
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
High School diploma or equivalent required
Prior guest relations/front desk experience within a luxury hospitality environment preferred
Excellent ability to communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
Prior experience with property management systems highly desired
Opera experience preferred
Must be able to provide at minimum 2 days of full availability each week
Open to working various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and graveyard (shifts are generally 6AM - 2PM, 8AM - 4PM, 2PM - 10PM, 10PM - 6AM)
