Facilities Supervisor Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - Facilities Supervisor is needed for a full-time position with a local non-profit organization. The Facilities Supervisor oversees the maintenance, housekeeping, and security of all locations. This individual will plan routine maintenance, ensure compliance, and oversee activities of contract services to ensure a clean and safe facility at all times.
Hours: Full-time
Location: Oahu: Honolulu
Pay: $48,000 to $60,000 Yearly
Additional Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
Develop and maintains a company-wide facilities management strategy
Develop best practice guidelines and/or operational procedures for facilities management
Evaluate maintenance procedures.
Recommend, plan, and implement procedures to improve operations
Respond to emergency maintenance situations
Project Management:
Coordinates project schedules
Work with staff to complete projects according to budget, with minimal disruption and maximum safety for patients and staff
Serve as the lead project manager for specifically assigned projects, as well as planned and preventative maintenance
Arrange and oversee activities of contract services such as exterminators, window cleaning, utility service repairers, and landscapers
Makes repairs and maintenance recommendations
Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety regulations
Make recommendations for serious repairs
Assists with the negotiation on contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
Purchasing:
Maintain and review records.
Generate reports of items purchased, costs, delivery, and product performance
Developing budgets and project management plans for inclusion in the annual budget
Processes purchase orders, solicits bids, and reviews all requisitions for goods and services
Order and arrange for delivery and distribution of all supplies
Analyze price proposals, reports, and other data and information
Coordinate closely with accounting to ensure proper processing of payments
Notify accounting of problems with backordered, defective, or unacceptable services
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Current CPR certification
Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean abstract
Minimum three years of facilities management, project management, or property management
Minimum two years in a supervisory role
Minimum two years of budget planning and purchasing
Exceptional customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare facilities management
