BI Engineer / Reports Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - We have an opportunity with an established, successful company that builds cutting edge SaaS Web products. They have grown steadily and are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer who has a passion for BI reporting and excels at working collaboratively with other team members, as well as internal and external users and customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
Work with and gather requirements from internal, external users and customer teams in an agile environment.
Requirements:
1-2+ years overall business intelligence report development experience. Experience with BI / Reporting tools like Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.
Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional).
SQL knowledge and experience performance tuning SQL Queries.
Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures.
Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Experienced in working in an Oracle environment.
Experience with Atlassian Jira
experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle is preferred.
Experience working in an agile environment
