Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Souffront Construction has an immediate opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required.
Job Duties
Full cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices, Purchase Orders and maintaining customer and vendor records
Bank reconciliations for depository accounts
General ledger input and maintenance
Sales tax preparation
Maintain required business documents
Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies
Deposit and cash reports
Perform other related duties as may be requested
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Must be able to work with Quick Books Online
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
3-5 years Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Highly organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts of the Authority
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Part-Time but can become full-time within4-6 months 25 hours per week Monday ? Friday
