Entry Level Staff Accountant Job Opening in Bonita Springs, Florida - City Mattress/Pranasleep is a prominent, national bedding who has been in business for over 50 years. As the Company continues to grow and expand, we are looking for talented individuals to join our family.
Currently, we are searching for a Staff Accountant to work at our Corporate Office located in Bonita Springs.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for entering, posting, reconciling, and maintaining financial transactions including AR & AP invoicing, receipts and disbursements.
Job Duties:
*AR: Invoicing, distribution, and record keeping. AR invoice generation, Cash receipts posting, and Customer invoice/statement distribution.
*AP: Coding and Invoice entry with all backup matched and proper approval.
*Reconciliations
*Inventory transaction adjustments
*Maintenance of historical records and light filing
*Preparation of required financial reports as needed
*Light Customer Service responsibilities will also be part of this position
:
*Ability to work with G/L packages and manage subsidiary ledgers
*Solid understanding of basic accounting principles with ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
*Experience with spreadsheets and MS Office
*Customer service oriented
*BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
*Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
