Detailed Job Description
Embedded SW development and Strong C programmer with firmware knowledge and Metering background experience (AMI, AMR, Smart Metering, Protocols such as : DLMS, ANSI C12.19, MultiSpeak, CIM)
Should be productive contributors with the background and skill to guide the rest of the team in implementation, oversee the quality and quantity metrics for the work, drive design and architecture, and document these for the team.
Should be available in Pacific time zone to participate in daily standups, planning, story breakdown, and design review sessions
His role shall include:
Technical lead, with hands-on involvement in the project
Create detailed delivery plans with the customer & corresponding status reporting
high maturity level to lead the entire team of 5
Communication with offshore team
Responsible for overall delivery from Aricent
Experience Required
7+ yrs. Lead should have experience of handling 10+ member team
Mandate/Must skills required
Mandatory:
Embedded ?C? programming Development expertise, JTAG experience.
Metering domain expert (DLMS, ANSI C12.19, DNP3, Modbus, Itron ERT, OSGP, etc).
RTOS (Multithreading with preemptive scheduling), uCosII, Windriver Linux, BSP, UBOOT (Boot Loader),
IP Networking ? Ipv4/IPV6.
Optional:
Python or Perl Scripting for Test Automation.
Device-Driver Experience (I2C driver, Flash driver, UART, SPI, USB, sensors, Interrupt handling), read and understand schematics,
wireless RF Mesh protocols, serial interface ? RS232, RS485.
Control application focusing on security and reliability (networking security fundamentals)
