Technical Sales Engineer Job Opening in Greensboro, North carolina - A successful, growing fabricator in Greensboro, North Carolina is seeking a Technical Sales Engineering Representative . Responsibilities will include direct selling to established customers as well as developing sales prospects. The TSR must have a full understanding of design, programming, sales, customer relations, industrial fabrication and layout. This individual must have a solid understanding of the construction, fabrication, machining, processing, structural industry.
Grows profitable sales within strategic and opportunistic growth segments
Maintenance of key customers ensuring a continued base of profitable industrial business
Estimates, quotes effectively customer projects. Converts opportunities into invoiced sales
Maintains a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that influence target accounts
Monitors, analyzes and communicates sales data to contribute to product/service schedule and planning
Responds to customer information requests; collaborates with cross-functional departments to ensure a timely and accurate response
Requirements:
Technical Degree preferred
Knowledge of CAD software
Minimum 2 years previous Design, Engineering, Product Layout / Equipment Programming experience
Previous experience as a CAD Programmer, Designer, Layout, Machining, Fabrication Estimator/Engineer
Five (5) or more years of industrial fabrication or industrial fabrication sales
Prior experience with blue-print and cad drawings preferred
Experience in selling in the industrial market, B2B selling , fabrication experience a plus
Must have a professional demeanor and an ability to communicate effectively with executive level individuals from various industries
Ability to learn new skills and technology as it pertains to business and fabrication needs
Strong mathematics and computer skills (Microsoft Office Products)
Customer valued focus
Able to adapt quickly to change and work under tight deadlines
High Mechanical aptitude required
