Sharp Medical Solutions is a fast growing medical staffing agency that is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager for national and international placement of Nursing, Allied Health, and Therapy professionals for permanent and temporary placement.
Our account managers are responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with potential healthcare facilities and VMS systems throughout the entire recruiting process and placement process.
Job Requirements
The primary goal of the account manager is to find potential hospitals in need of temporary and permanent medical professionals and submit qualified nursing, therapy, and allied health candidates for open positions in existing and new client facilities and VMS systems. Other requirements include:
Generates new business leads by effective ways of communication.
Represents the company in a professional, polite, and knowledgeable manner at external events, such as, trade shows, seminars, job fairs, networking events, meetings, etc.
Must be creative and have a "think outside the box approach"
Maintains knowledge of recruitment within the area of specialty
Maintains an active interest in the area of assignment as demonstrated by cold calling, lead generation, social media marketing and recruiting, referrals, organic sales growth, marketing strategies, and other innovative approaches to finding facilities and establishing contracts with hospitals and VMS systems.
Proactively manages daily requirements, expectations, and goals throughout the organization.
Lead specific tracks of work for hospitals and vms programs
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing accounts
Assist in new business development (proposal development, meetings, and presentations)
Communicate the client's goals, project requirements, and represent the client's interests to the team to ensure client expectations are met and managed.
Be responsible for all client communication, understanding client goals and interests and discussing project requirements with clients.
Work closely with management to maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
Assist in creating and monitoring adherence to project plans/budgets
Coordinate with colleagues in other departments for the purpose of ensuring efficient workflow.
Ensure clients are regularly informed of project status and maintain clear communication with clients to ensure client needs are met and any issues are resolved.
Cold call prospective clients in a specific industry, and develop new leads and accounts via creative business development strategies.
Develop strong understanding of company capabilities and services, and effectively communicates offerings to the client.
Compose or generate a variety of materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, manuals, trade show materials, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, training, providing written reference and/or conveying information regarding the status of projects, etc.
*Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in hospital account management and Medical Recruiting or medical sales
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Prior experience in managing complex negotiations and contracts a plus with hospitals
Independent, self-motivated, results-oriented, and dynamic
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Must be able to meet deadlines and goals on a daily basis
Preferred knowledge and understanding of recruitment as normally demonstrated through previous recruitment experience. This includes proven experience and success analyzing recruitment needs, formulating strategy to meet needs, and implementing strategies and plans
Have the ability to build lasting business relationships with individuals and Executives
Able to drive sales through effective networking and/or relationship building and have an eye for talent
Must possess strong analytical and strategic skills related to designated area of responsibility
Be able to provide excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and must have confidence in leading strategy discussions related to recruiting, marketing, and sales
Be a self motivator and have the ability to be a leader, support colleagues, and work as a team
Have the ability to demonstrate a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients.
Must be proficient with typing, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and have the ability to learn new computer systems and recruiting technology
