Sales Representative / Territory Manager Job Opening in Franklin, Tennessee - Job Title: Territory Manager
Territory Size: South Central and Eastern Tennessee, Northern Alabama
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager, who is self-directed and operates best under minimal supervision. This individual with be required to develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while growing a new customer base within his/her assigned territory.
The Territory Manager will develop and implement sales strategies for all customer accounts across all product lines.
This position reports directly to the President of the company.
Ideal Candidate:
Will have extensive experience (as a seller, buyer and installer) within the metal roofing market.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to use a computer and effectively use order-entry software.
Loves travel and is constantly available to his/her customers.
Ability to understand all aspects of the business process and apply appropriate sales techniques to insure all company goals are
Demonstrated experience consistently moving prospects through proposal, evaluation, negotiation, and closing stages.
Ability to conduct training classes for customers, vendors, end-users etc.
Ability to pass pre-employment math test, drug screen, physical exam and criminal background check.
Long-term residency in assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality support to all customers in a professional and timely manner.
Provide sales forecasting and financial information pertinent to growth and profitability of given territory.
Take orders from customers and enter order-entry system.
Maintain subject matter expertise in regards to full knowledge of all customers, competitors and trends within this industry.
Must identify, locate and visit on all new potential customers within territory daily.
Must effectively communicate across every stage of the business. This includes executive management, customer service, manufacturing, delivery, vendors, competitors, customers and end-users.
Consistently meet established sales targets.
Job Requirements:
Superb interpersonal and communication skills along paired with advanced math and organizational skills.
A strong, positive professional attitude with solid interpersonal communication, time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
Always represent company in a professional manner.
Ability to work with peers in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to sell all of the company?s products.
Equivalent work experience in related field a plus, but direct experience in a metal roofing shop preferred.
Bachelor?s degree.
We offer competitive pay and 401K that will be discussed during initial interview.
This is a base plus commission position that may include a company-provided car for daily travel.
This position is subject to background evaluation and a drug screening.
