Field Operations Job Opening in Pomona, California - Come join a growing company within the transportation industry!
FSA Logistix specializes in Last Mile logistics for a wide range of American businesses. This includes national retailers, manufacturers, eTailers, healthcare businesses, and third party logistics companies that want FSA Logistix to manage the Last Mile Delivery of their merchandise and complex installation of appliances.
The position of Field Operations is responsible for handling work orders, routing, deliveries, installations, and communication with assigned locations as well as all communication with delivery and installation teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills and experience
Ability to communicate internally and externally in a professional manner
Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
Clear and concise verbal and written communication and comprehension skills
Problem solving, operational management and improvement for assigned location
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly-changing environment and with minimal supervision
Strong computer skills; web-based applications and MS Office
Ability to handle stressful situations resulting from high volume of phone calls, emails, frustrated customers and changes in priorities and procedures
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Relationship management, including all communication with delivery and installation teams, as well as assigned client sales contacts
Excellent attention to detail
Requires a strong candidate who can work independently and exercise excellent judgement. Must be organized, have good follow through and be able to manage both small details and big picture strategy simultaneously. Excellent growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Must be professional and able to work well within all levels of an organization
Must be self-sufficient, reliable and articulate
Experience in dispatching/routing preferred but not required
Experience in appliance installation preferred but not required
Construction and/or Service experience a plus
Third Party Logistics/Last Mile Delivery experience a plus
