Job Summary:
The Donor Services Coordinator position is an integral member of the Development Department and reports to the Development Director. Primary responsibilities include: maintaining the donor database, preparing donor acknowledgment mailings, developing and generating revenue and development reports, providing administrative support, donor stewardship, and participating in donor outreach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily maintenance and posting of donor records information and gift entries into database (Donor Perfect)
Review, research, import, enter, and reconcile external donor gift source information and entries.
Reconciliation of donor database revenue postings to accounting software at month end, year end and annual audit.
Report development and creation for revenue reconciliation and reporting for the Finance, Development departments, and CEO.
Generate daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports from data base.
Prepare & process timely gift acknowledgement letters, Development Department letters and mailings within 10 days of gift or request notification.
Coordinate with mailing house supervisor to send, receive, and install zip+4 and NCOA updates.
Perform ongoing maintenance of donor records, mailing lists and scheduled data entry audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to data entry guidelines.
Communicate via telephone, occasionally in person, with donors, banks, gifting organizations to provide customer service to and on behalf of donors.
General office duties to include filing, recording of events, event calendaring and recording of volunteer hours in data base
Future outreach and travel (after 1 year) approximately 3 days per month.
Perform other duties and projects as requested by the Development Director and organization.
Essential Qualifications:
High School diploma is required; with Associate or B.A. degree desired from an accredited college.
Minimum one (1) year experience with Donor Perfect or similar donor data
Two years of experience with progressive responsibility using, managing, entering, and tracking data base system information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, donor relationship management software, and other applicable software application Excellent computer skills.
Pass criminal background, credit, and DMV che
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, sit at computer for extended periods of time- (up to 90%), climb stairs, move readily from place to place and operate office equipment and computers with ease.
Car or reliable transportation to/from main office required.

Preferred:
Experience working with non-profit charitable organization.
Experience with Donor Perfect or Raiser?s Edge Data Base software.
Knowledge of donor stewardship
