Junior Systems Administrator Job Opening in Rogers, Arkansas - Job Summary
Utilizing both problem solving and people skills, apply expertise of computer systems to assist end users through diagnoses and resolution of technological problems. Maintain IT Systems and applications. Improve internal business applications through software development.
Essential Job Functions

End User Help Desk: Provide employees with means to receive assistance with day-to-day computer issues (via eTicket, telephone help desk, email, etc). Maintain satisfactory completion rate of issues. Provide continuing notification to users on the status of existing help requests. Install and maintain desktop computers.
Network Administration : Maintain existing network infrastructure. Administer LAN, WAN, VoIP phone system, firewalls, switches, cable, layer 3 routers, Wi-Fi, and remote VPN applications for mobile and offsite workforce and underlying protocols.
Server Administration : Maintain Microsoft Windows Servers and applications including: Windows Active Directory, EDI, Intranet, Engineering CAD, email, and Hyper-V. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, resource partitioning, scripting, and patching. Maintain active directory and other user logins. Repair and recover from hardware and software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted users. Manage company domain names, web and cloud hosts, DNS records, SSL certification, and ecommerce sites.
Software Programming and Database Development: Develop CloudSuite ERP system using built-in tools (Mongoose) and Microsoft technology (, VB, SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures) and modify SSRS reports.
Other Job Duties
Identify, via regular review processes, problematic or aging areas of existing hardware infrastructure or software systems and develop a replacement or upgrade plan.
Research infrastructure hardware and software.
Study emerging trends in technology which may eventually benefit the company.
Train employees on the use of new technologies.
Document IT procedures.
Process requisition requests from other departments for computer equipment and accessories.
If necessary, research computer equipment and accessories to find the best price and fit for the job required.
Perform other related duties as required.

Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 to 5:00. Occasional weekend work is necessary.
Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor?s Degree in IT Systems Administration or related field, or a combination of college education and equivalent work experience.
Certifications: CompTIA Network +, Server +, Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Cisco: CCENT
