Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Smyrna, Tennessee - CraneWorks is one of the Southeast's leading providers of crane & rigging services, and bare equipment rental.
We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative.
The Outside Sales Representative will solicit, look at, estimate, quote, negotiate, and provide account management for crane/equipment rental customers as well as rigging-related projects within a defined territory.
Responsibilities:
Seek out new construction and industrial projects within the defined territory and develop relationships with prospective users of crane, equipment, and rigging services
Visit prospective client sites to present CraneWorks' capabilities, understand the customer's needs, and provide accurate job estimating
Professionally represent CraneWorks values
Respond to customer needs in an effective and timely manner and maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Proactively research, pursue, and follow up on project opportunities
Develop and present an expert understanding of CraneWorks capabilities, product functionality, product applications, and customer requirements
Establish and nurture new and existing account relationships to continuously increase market share
Prepare, maintain, and deliver sales quotations, reports, and projections
Meet and be responsible for revenue targets and profit/revenue quotas
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of two years sales experience
High school diploma or higher education
strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Excellent organizational skills
Detail oriented, motivated, self-starter
Mathematical and reasoning ability
Willingness to travel overnight when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years in the construction and/or crane industry
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
Ability to thrive in an environment requiring rapid learning and prioritization under tight deadlines
Knowledge of/experience with the Greater Nashville construction industry
