We are currently searching for a positive, role model to join our leadership team at Westhills Village Healthcare. This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team to assess the needs of our residents and is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, formulating, giving and evaluating nursing care. This position will contribute to overall care which is guided by the resident care plan, facility policies and procedures, and professional standards of practice. Responsible for complying with federal and state regulations regarding completion and coordination of the MDS process. Monitors MDS and care plan documentation for all residents. Ensures documentation is present in the medical record to support MDS coding.
The ideal candidate should posses the following minimal qualifications:
Current South Dakota RN license required Experience with Minimum Data Set (MDS) preferred Knowledge of Medicare preferred
