We are seeking a motivated multi-tasker for the position of Bookkeeper . This is a part-time position at our Holmdel, New Jersey location. The bookkeeper is responsible for aspects of accounting including recording Accounts Payable, credit card reconciliation, bank reconciliation, running payroll, updating expenses and generating reports using Excel. Responsibilities include:
Maintain accurate record keeping and clear communication on company financial information and reporting
Reconciles bank accounts in Quickbooks
Process employee reimbursements
Performs bank, invoicing and credit card reconciliation as necessary.
Handle accounts payable
Run bi-monthly payroll
Reconcile bank accounts in QuickBooks
Work with company's CPA firm to file and pay any owed taxes
Other ad-hoc tasks
Experience and Skills:
Must have a high attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding attention to detail and organization
Excellent problem solving skills
Able to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor
Candidates must additionally possess:
Bachelor?s or Associate?s degree in accounting or finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
