Route Sales Driver (El Dorado) Job Opening in El Dorado, Arkansas - Ambassador is currently recruiting for multiple Distributors for Flowers Baking Company to distribute bread brands in the El Dorado, AR surrounding areas.
The bakery is a subsidiary of Flowers Foods, one of the leading baked foods brands in the U.S. Flower's brands includes Nature's Own (the best-selling bread brand in the U.S.), Wonder, Home Pride, Tastykake, Cobblestone Bread Co., and other popular brands. This is an outstanding opportunity offering stability and long term growth. No experience is required but preferred.
Distributors will need to be ambitious and have a go-getter attitude. You need to be a people person as you build relationships with Managers and Directors of grocery stores, convenient stores, and restaurants. The long term financial opportunity is incredible! If you have experience with Route Sales, grocery store stocking, convenience stores, and of products, this may be the new career path for you!
Distributors will develop and grow current sales, deliver and merchandise products in grocery and convenient stores and reorder products for customers. You will rotate products, pull unsold product and work with Managers to gain additional display space. Distributors will be continuously bending, twisting, lifting and turning. You must be able to lift 70+ lbs. throughout the day.
Pay rate to start: $12.00 an hr.
Ideal Route Sales Distributors will possess the following qualities:
Familiar with driving a truck.
Experience with DSD (Direct Store Delivery) is desired but not mandatory.
Ability to work early morning hours
Must possess a valid driver?s license with clean MVR and have the ability to secure a DOT Medical Card.
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Required education:
High school or equivalent
Must obtain at least a Class D Chauffeur's license.
