Office Manager of AAUW/Gale Mansion Event Center Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - The Gale Mansion Event Center is owned and operated by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Minneapolis Branch non-profit. The office manager is the person on-site who manages the day-to-day operations of both AAUW and the Gale Mansion event center business. This individual will work with the AAUW President and Gale business board chair to ensure the Gale business runs smoothly and the needs of the AAUW organization are met.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary or equivalent work experience necessary
Significant experience in general office and audit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accounting and financial aptitude and experience
Experience with Quickbooks, Paychex, Access or willingness to learn plus excellent pc computer skills
Supervisory experience and ability to work with people
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the office of the Gale Business with a staff of 2 full-time employees and several part-time working with the AAUW President and Gale Board Chair.
Maintain accounting and reporting systems for AAUW and Gale event business including monthly and annual finance reports, prepare for annual audit, maintain official records, pay bills and payroll.
Maintain membership records, service AAUW members and perform general office clerical duties related to an organization of 350 members.
Work with House Management to maintain facilities.
Other duties as assigned
