The position of Accounts Receivable Specialist is critical within our Accounting and Operations departments. In this role, you will be the main point of contact between the company, our sales team and our customers for all A/R matters. The position requires someone who excels at customer service, problem solving and collections skills.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering excellent customer service while helping to resolve any issues regarding past due balances on a wide portfolio of accounts
Providing any necessary documentation needed in order to obtain payment from customer
Working with Account Managers to plan the best course of action within each specific account
Maintaining current and accurate records of accounts within our internal programs
Prepare and analyze financial reports to best identify priority accounts
Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions in MAS90 (Sage 100)
Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of our business
Add new customer information and update existing customer account information
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A high level of organization and time-management skills
Strong computer proficiency, including MAS90 (Sage 100), Intacct, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and 10-Key
2+ years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience
