What does an Entry-Level Project Manager do?
The Project Manager will be in charge of delivering programs on-time and within budget by improving the effectiveness of project teams through the application of professionally accepted program and project management methods, techniques, and tools.
The Project Manager will support 1-3 medium to large or 5-10 smaller projects.
The Project Manager will provide basic facilitation for project teams, and should quickly become capable of leading control meetings.
What is the day to day?
A typical day will include reviewing project timeline with engineering, operations, and other support groups, arranging project kick-offs, and making sure all paperwork is accurate, recorded properly, and filed as per record retention guidelines.
What are the requirements?
A four year BA or BS degree is required. A technical degree is preferred but not required.
Must be able to manage through computer systems and work spreadsheets. Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required. Project Management is desired. Knowledge of accounting services for invoicing.
Must be able to work with others on a daily basis and engage others when necessary.
