General Accountant Job Opening in Buffalo, New york - Tomric Systems, Inc. is looking to add an experienced General Accountant to the Finance team.
This position will report to the Controller and will perform all functions associated with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for one division of the organization.
Specific duties will include:
All duties associated with accounts payable including: interacting with internal staff and vendors; billing, processing invoices; expense coding; and data entry.
Prepares weekly AP/AR reports; monthly AP & AR aging reports; monthly statements for unpaid invoices; reports as required.
All duties associated with accounts receivable including: receipts, performing bank deposits; coding credit card payments; tracking and following up on all accounts receivables.

Assist with purchasing duties
Required :
Must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance and 5 years of related experience performing both AR and AP duties in a manufacturing environment
Extremely organized, accurate and detail oriented
Ability to learn systems & skills and then work independently and in a team oriented environment
Computer savvy with extensive experience in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Excel
