Position Title: Cash Analyst
Schedule: Part-time position
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Part-Time Cash Analyst, you will provide support to the Finance department. This role will be involved in various accounting and financial aspects of the organization. In addition to monthly reconciliations, you will assist in monitoring and recording of the various revenue streams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for updating system reports and reconciling to bank activity.
Liaise with client departments on cash reconciliation and resolution of over/shorts.
Research and maintain filing of cash deposit slips and credit card receipts.
Copy checks and prepare for deposit into bank.
Assist in the preparation of monthly revenue journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.

REQUIREMENT:
Experience working with cash preferred.
Highly organized and detailed oriented.
Ability to work independently.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially excel.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a part-time position (approximately 16-20 hours per week)
