Summary
Achieve sales forecast by making telephone sales calls and sending emails and literature.
Primary Responsibilities:
Make telephone sales calls to qualify leads, convert prospects, and increase sales to existing customers.
Provide quotations as necessary and follow-up quotations to convert to orders.
Maintain contact management database.
Provide input to marketing on sales related campaigns and literature.
Identify new products and services to meet market requirements.
SECONDARY ELEMENTS
Make field sales calls to key accounts as necessary to support sales efforts.
Attend tradeshows when requested.
Maintain expenses within budget and prepare expense reports as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Advanced Computer Skills, MS Office
Knowledge of CRM is a plus
Mathematical skills for calculating proper discounts and pricing
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
At least two years of successful service experience; preferably in technology sales. BS Degree in Chemistry is a plus.
