Job Summary for *Senior Developer / Architect : *
Responsible for designing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting software, code, and technology that is designed by and for Spaulding Clinical. A special focus is placed on gaining the respect and confidence of Spaulding Clinical?s partners, customers, and the pharmaceutical / biotech industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of *Senior Developer / Architect : *
Assesses complex technical challenges, and provide simple software solutions.
Documents and communicates technical solutions to meet company and industry quality standards.
Creates and maintains data structures to meet business needs.
Serve as the technical consultant on new products and technologies.
Performs system administration?including system security, software update management, and database maintenance.
Analyzes the impact of process or technical tool changes on existing processes, tools, and interfaces based on knowledge of interdependencies of related functions and systems.
Consistently supports compliance and maintaining of privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting noncompliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and Spaulding Clinical?s policies and procedures.
Participates in computer software validation.
Leads design reviews to assess performance against design specifications, test reliability, and evaluate system interactions.

of *Senior Developer / Architect : *
Required:
Experience in software development using Java and / or
Spring, MySQL, JSP/GSP, JavaScript, and jQuery experience
Experience with cloud infrastructure / PaaS
Ability to work throughout the full software stack
Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and encourage team members to seek efficient solutions
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
Strong leadership, project management, time management, and problem solving skills
Basic knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems (SOPs, WIs, CAPAs, and internal audits).
Preferred:
Groovy, Grails web development experience
Amazon Web Services experience
Experience developing enterprise software in a healthcare / clinical environment
