Financial Controller Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - We are looking for a Controller to join our team! This is a management position. The Controller will report to the CFO and will manage the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Accounting team
Review terms, conditions, and other contracts
Ensure proper recognition of revenues and expenses on the accrual basis in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to executive team
Coordinate A/R Collections
Assist with Payroll Processing
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Accounting
Advanced knowledge of GAAP
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4 Year Accounting Degree
CPA strongly preferred
Management experience
