Grants Auditor Job Opening in Columbia, Maryland - Immediate opening for an experienced auditor to conduct audits of grant-funded federal programs. Under the direction of the Audit Manager, the auditor will schedule audits, conduct audit tests, develop audit findings, and draft audit reports. He/she will be responsible for assembling and maintaining complete and orderly records of audit activities in both electronic and hard-copy form. He/she will have frequent contact with Federal clients. Frequent travel required. The position is located in Columbia, MD in a building not served by public transit but with ample free parking
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting. Strong written / oral communication skills, one year experience in accounting or auditing, six months of which involves Federal grants. Familiarity with Federal regulations applicable to grants management
