Senior Accountant Job Opening in Rockville, Maryland - We are seeking a Corporate Senior Accountant for a progressive company in Rockville MD. This role is part of a large young team and is the Google of Maryland.
In this role you will be:
Overseeing consolidated financial reporting
Process financial statement edits received from auditors
Support the external audits
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management
Perform variance analysis
Establish key internal controls over financial reporting
Recommend and implement process improvement
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting and a CPA
4+ years of public accounting and/or corporate accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP
SEC experience desired
