Crisis Intervention and Stabilization Specialist Job Opening in Dover, Ohio - Community Mental Healthcare, Inc . has an opening for a full-time Crisis Intervention and Stabilization Specialist. This position provides crisis hotline triage and intervention along with face-to-face interventions, assessments, and de-escalations, to determine appropriate treatment intervention. The Specialist will coordinate linkage to necessary services to transition clients to the most appropriate level of care in the least restrictive environment. These services are to be provided in a timely, responsive and therapeutic manner to assure the safety of the client and in accordance with established standards. The Specialist will provide direct care to individuals in the crisis stabilization unit in order to ensure program and individual goals are achieved. The position will monitor the safety of clients in the crisis stabilization unit to assure their safety through supervision and intervention. The schedule for this position is weekend coverage including Thursday, Friday, and Saturday totaling 40 hours.

Minimum Requirements:
Master?s degree in counseling, social work, or other related field with current Ohio license as a mental health professional (LPC, LSW); or Bachelor?s degree and current Social Worker License (LSW); or Registered Nurse with experience in the mental health field. Must have a valid Ohio driver?s license, ability to navigate outdoors in all weather, strong computer skills, and effective communication skills.
