Manager, Claims Operations Job Opening in Hudson, Ohio - Position Summary:
Organize and increase efficiency with the accurate identification and timely submission of initial data elements required to initiate a workers' compensation claim. Staff members have daily contact with Clients, patients of the clients, payers and employers. Some typical projects may include:
Revenue cycle assessment s and data uploads
Revenue cycle process improvement.
Alignment and implementation of client/staff processes.
Revenue cycle suggestions.
Principal Responsibilities:
Provide full revenue cycle management services to client/partners in the early steps in the revenue cycle which includes: insurance verification and first report of injury completion.
Health Information Management.
Decision Support and analytics to track data and processes.
Develop and manage staff to increase productivity and quality management.
Assist with creation and implementation of staff and client business metrics and results.
Evaluate and analyze client data.
Develop options and recommendations to increase cash collections or decrease cost.
Collaborate with client/partner revenue cycle team.
Plan, organize and prioritize project activities using work plans and other project management tools.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the Healthcare revenue cycle.
Knowledge of BWC, Department of Labor and Department of Energy.
Experience working at various levels of a health care organization.
Working knowledge of hospital based IT systems.
Expert computer skills, including but not limited to : MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience leading, directing and motivating team and staff members.
