Sales Manager - Eastern/Mid US Region Job Opening in Anacortes, Washington - Sugiyo USA, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales Manager to help manager our Eastern/Mid U.S. Region. We are an established, closely-held, 30-year old high-end surimi-based seafood manufacturing company located in Anacortes, Washington. We are seeking someone with strong entrepreneurial skills to push our sales to the next level on the East Coast.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the of a viable sales plan to effectively sell surimi seafood directly to food service distributors, retail chains, restaurant chains, manufactures, and intuitional users
Participate in trade shows, end-user calls and corporate sales calls
Deliver successful product presentations
Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner/channel relationships
Develop business with top retail chains, major supermarkets and national food service distributions in the U.S.
Ability and willingness to work from home office
Must be able to travel to customer locations as necessary
Ability to track performance and ROI of promotions
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
Job Requirements:
2+ years in retail and foodservice sales, B2B sales with track record of new customer acquisition, account management, sales projection achievement
Knowledge of national food products distribution channels
Professional corporate image ? promotable
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Software
Administratively self-sufficient
Must be able to pass a background check
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
